HOUSE RULES
Villa Shore is a private home and all the things including paintings etc. belong to the owner for their private use. Please take care of the items as if these were your own.
Lists of items in each room/common space have been kept in the specific places.
Any of the items missing, broken and damaged will be billed to the guests at re- placement price. The valuation conveyed by the owners of the property would be final.
General
Identity of each of the house guests has to be established through a valid official document as by government rules and regulations. A copy of the documents will be retained for the record.
Non- resident guests are only allowed to enter the premises with the approval of the owner or owner representative at the public areas only! Entering guest rooms for non – resident guests is prohibited.
All guests have to follow the sound laws, no loud music allowed post 10:30pm.
Morjim Beach is situated in CRZ and Turtle nesting site. Playing loud music is banned in this area.
As Villa Shore is in the midst of the coastal beach zone of Goa , you may see some wildlife like dogs, lizards, mosquitos, ants, flies. Please keep windows and doors shut especially between 5 pm and 8 pm.
A security deposit of Rs 40,000 will be deposited by the guests at the time of registration to cover any damages during their stay.
This amount will be fully refunded after deducting the replacement cost of damaged/lost items. However, the cost of the damaged/lost items is higher than the security deposit amount, the guests would pay the remaining amount.
Please keep all valuables under lock and key. We will not be responsible for any loss.
We have Wifi network at Villa Shore available which works well. Please ask our house manager to share the details.
The swimming pool has a filter plant and the water quality is tested every day. We do not have lifeguards. Safety of the users including children is of the guests and we will not bear any responsibility for the same.
Food should be consumed in the dining room as we do not have adequate staff to service other areas. No food should be taken into the rooms.
All guests are requested to switch off all electric equipment like lights, geysers and ACs while leaving the rooms. In case this is not done, our staff has been instructed to enter the room and switch these off.
As Villa Shore is situated in the rural beach areas, we sometimes experience power cuts. In case of a longer power cut then 30 minutes we will switch to the generator.
Services & Staff
We have a team of caretakers who are preparing and serving breakfast, providing general housekeeping, maintenance and security.
Villa Shore cleaning time (including bedrooms and bathrooms) is between 11:30 am – 4 pm. If you want the room cleaned, please give access to your room to the cleaner.
Linen is changed once every three days. In case of a special requirement please notify the staff well in advance.
If any local purchases are to be made for the guests, please notify the staff on the prior evening.
If purchases (12:00pm to 6pm ) are to be made for the guests, settlement of the bills may be done at the end of each day. A service charge of 10% will be levied on the actual price of the purchases.
We have limited staff and each one of them has been assigned specific tasks to be completed every day. Therefore, while they would be happy to assist the guests when required if you inform us, the staff may not be in a position to take direct requests for any kind of service from the guests.
Food & Beverage Services
Breakfast is included in the price –and served from 8:30am – 11:00 am in dedicated areas.
We don’t run a restaurant or other general food services, but our cook can prepare simple vegetarian and non vegetarian indian dishes on pre order against extra cost. Order needs to be placed a day in advance. Guests may indicate their meal preference one day in advance.
Meals will be prepared and placed on the table. We do not provide staff for regular service at the table.
If you plan to cook your own meals, we can provide a cook and additional helper on extra payment. Please book a minimum 1 day in advance.
We are operating a professional kitchen, self cooking is not permitted.
Please leave used crockery and cutlery at the table after the meals. Our staff would clean up the table.
If purchases are to be made for the guests, settlement of the bills may be done at the end of each day. A service charge of 10% will be levied on the actual price of the Purchases.
The purchase list may be in writing by the guests to our staff a day in advance.
**In case of any illegal activities by Indian government law or violation of our rules and regulations we have the right to ask our guests to check out from our premise. In that case there will be no refund of payment!
Confirmation Policy
To confirm your booking, 50% of the total amount must be paid in advance.
If cancellation is done 30 days prior to arrival, guests are subject to a full refund. (except long weekends and peak dates).
If cancellation is done less than 30 days prior to arrival, a credit note is provided in the case of resale at the same rate and if the rate is less, then the difference is deducted from the credit note.
